This beautiful Hadra of the Shadhili-Darqawi-Hashimi order of the Saint, Shaykh ‘Abdur Rahman al-Shaghouri (May Allah sanctify his secret), has been captivating me since I found it on YouTube. It’s too beautiful. Also, nearing the end of the video, Shaykh ‘Abdur Rahman himself appears in the video. Just by looking at him leaves one in awe.

Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller (Shaykh ‘Abdur Rahman’s student) wrote an obituary of this Saint here. I remember receiving news of his death while I was in Tarim, Yemen. Although I’ve never met him before, my heart broke when I heard the news. May Allah bless us with the knowledge he taught.
