Alhamdulillah, my sister gave birth to a handsome and healthy baby boy on the 11th of May (5 Jumadil-Awwal 1429H). His name is Muhammad Firas. May he grow up to be a righteous Muslim, keen of understanding and always one in remembrance of Allah Almighty.
Congrats to my sister, Shakirah and her husband, Muhammad Fadzli! Wow, I’m an uncle now!
It’s been about a month since we moved to our new place. Alhamdulillah, we managed to get Habib Abbas As-Saqqaf and his students to come over and do the Mawlid An-Nabi for us.

You came to this world on the 14th of April 1957. Your life full of sweat and tears. You brought us up good, even when all the odds were against you. When you cried, you cried for us. When you smile, we cannot help but feel that the whole world is smiling too. May Allah bless you for every morsel you fed, for every tear you shed and for every sacrifice you made.
